Email Client Setup: Outlook 2007

  1. Click Tools
  2. Click Account Settings
  3. Verify that the e-mail tab is selected and press the New option
  4. Select Manually configure server settings or additional server types and press Next
  5. Verify that Internet E-mail and press Next
  6. Type Your Name and Your email address
  7. Select IMAP from the Account Type drop down
  8. Type in the following for the Incoming Mail Server: mail.eoni.com
  9. Type in the following for the Outgoing Mail Server: mail.eoni.com
  10. Type your Full Email Address for the Username
  11. Type your Password
  12. Click More Settings
  13. Click the Outgoing Server Tab
  14. Click the checkbox My Outgoing Server (SMTP) Requires Authentication
  15. Click the Advanced Tab
  16. Check This server requires an encrypted connection below incoming server (IMAP) and make sure the port is 993
  17. Below outgoing server (SMTP) verify that SSL/TLS is selected from the drop down
  18. Type 587 in the Outgoing Server field
  19. Click Ok
  20. Click Next
  21. Click Finish
  22. Click Close
