Polycom VVX phones have an enhanced feature key we have added to each phone to transfer an active call directly to the voice mail box of an extension without ringing the extension.
To transfer the current call directly to voice mail:
- Do not press transfer, hold or any other buttons
- Look at the row of 4 black buttons under the phone display
- Press More
- Press VMTransfer
- You will see:
Voice Mail ID to transfer to: __________ - dial the extension number
- Press black key marked Enter
- The call is transferred directly to the extension voice mail.
