Any email sent to any eoni.com email address that shows the email is from an eoni.com email address must be sent by an EONI mail server.
Why? Forged email that claims to come from eoni.com is sent by illegimitate sources that are usually seeking to impersonate eoni.com and cause harm to EONI customers or EONI’s reputation.
KSF is our system that verifies the source email server delivering the email from an eoni.com email address is legitimate.
KSF is very similar in function to SPF.
If you have servers or services that attempt to send email to non-eoni.com email addressees from an eoni.com email address expect non-eoni.com email servers to reject the message citing SPF policy violation.
If you have non-EONI servers or services that attempt to send email to eoni.com email addresses from an eoni.com email address expect KSF to cause deliver failures.
There are only 2 ways to solve KSF issues:
- Change your system that is sending the email to send the email from a non-eoni.com email address (easiest)
- Set up your system to send the email using the eoni.com email servers using SMTP authentication (very doable but your systems may require a more complicated setup)
